Salman Khan Attempt at Manslaughter Case: Judgment Date to be Settled on April 20

A trial court here today said it would settle on April 20 the date for proclamation of judgment in the 13-year-old attempt at manslaughter case in which Bollywood performer Salman Khan is a charged and declined to give the resistance of an opportunity time to close its last contentions.

"I would settle on Monday the date of the judgment," said Sessions Judge D W Deshpande, when Khan's legal counselor Shrikant Shivade said he required additional time.

"Finish up your contention by April 20 and no further time would be offered either to the barrier or arraignment to make more entries," the judge said.

The indictment has officially contended its case.

Inside and out 27 witnesses were inspected by the indictment while the protection analyzed stand out witness — Khan's driver Ashok Singh.


The 49-year-old on-screen character is blamed for smashing his Toyota Land Cruiser into a pastry kitchen in rural Bandra on September 28, 2002, slaughtering one individual and harming four others.

He has been accused of 'at fault murder not adding up to murder' which pulls in ten years detainment.
